8 Crazy Nights...
Today I thought I'd share with you an image from the animated feature "8 crazy nights". It's a film starring Adam Sandler as himself as well as these two interesting characters which he also provided the voices for. I did this image to set-up my scene before I started animating it. It was included in my thumbnail drawings to show layout, composition, fielding, size relationship, if the characters are on model and eye direction. I don't always include a page like this but for this particular scene we had to adjust the layout slightly. Once I got the approval from the director on both the thumbnails and this set-up, I was then able to move forward and start animating the scene.

Thanks for stopping by Kevin... seeing all your wonderful designs (especially concerning that personal story you’ll working on...) I’ll bet "The Dark Crystal" is one of your favourite films too, right? (...wonder how Genndy Tartakovsky’s gonna approach his part on DC2), I simply love the clear style you’re using for yours anyway.

And also, great stuff with the scenes on those features by the way, I’ll be back for sure.

Fine greetings (and listen to your wife!)

Cheers!

I've seen 8 Crazy Nights and I liked it! There is some really good work in there. I never thought it deserved to be bashed the way it was.
Too many haters out there.

Thanks everyone. I really, really appreciate your comments. It pleases me to have so many comments regarding traditionally animated drawings!

Jennifer...I was working for Yowza (Toronto) when I animated on this film. Thanks.
